There is a metro station a few minutes walk away and lots of bars/restaurants/ street food stands/parks etc! It is a little way out of the centre but that suited us because we found the central area to be much more touristy.
We also loved the location - it is a cool area with a great buzz that feels very safe even at night. He is super chatty and friendly and that adds so much to the experience of staying here! On top of the above the breakfast is great with orange juice, really good coffee and tasty quesadillas. Alfonso the owner is fantastic and so accommodating. We really felt like we were at home and could properly relax there is everything you need from a powerful hot shower & extra blankets in case you get cold to fast WIFI. The building and rooms are lovely, with high ceilings, big windows, comfy beds and plenty of space. I can only echo all the positive reviews below - this really is the place to stay in Mexico City! We spent 3 nights here and it was one of the best places we have stayed in 4 months of travelling.
